Paul Calandra, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, for the Township’s response to the Housing Affordability Task Force’s Recommendations be received; AND FURTHER THAT as requested by the Minister, staff be directed to submit a letter in the general form of Attachment 5 outlining the Township’s top five Task Force recommendations, as follows, prior to the October 16, 2023 deadline: To prevent abuse of the appeal process - Recommendation #31 Modernizing HST thresholds - Recommendation #36 Make it easier to build rentals - Recommendation #37 Make homeownership possible for hardworking Ontarians who want it - Recommendation #41 Affordable Housing - Appendix B
