Planning and Development Committee

THAT Planning Report No. P21-025, dated May 19, 2021, with respect to endorsement of a Docking Proposal at 1726 Earl Haid Avenue, be received; AND FURTHER THAT Council in principle endorses the request for the proposal illustrated in Attachment 2 of Report No. P21-025 subject to the following conditions:  Survey showing both existing and proposed new: building, structure(s) and encroachments onto Township property.  Review of proposal by the Township’s Accessibility Committee  Modification of a portion of the existing encroachment patio while retaining AODA compliant access to restaurant and new dock/deck with License of Occupation to utilize Township Road Allowance as required.  Detailed design for Ontario Building Code and Zoning By-law Review including application of a Minor Variance if required. AND FURTHER THAT staff report to Council once the survey and some detailed design work utilizing the survey results has been completed.
