Special Council

THAT Planning Report No. P24-027 dated June 26, 2024, with respect to updates to the Planning User Fees and Charges be received; AND THAT Schedule ‘A’ of By-law No. 2023-35 be amended to reflect the change in Planning fees as detailed in Staff Report No. P24-027.

THAT Planning Report No. P24-028, dated June 26, 2024, with respect to the Adoption of the Updated New Official Plan for the Township of Severn be received; AND FURTHER THAT Council endorse the public, agency and Council comments and associated direction contained in Attachment 11; AND FURTHER THAT Council adopt the Updated New Official Plan as attached to this report subject to the following additional modifications requested by Council; adding in the Growth Plan policy 2.2.5.10 to Section 6.5 of the OP text (proposed policy 2.8.2.5 in the draft Provincial Planning Statement 2024). AND FURTHER THAT the Clerk be directed to forward the adoption record to the County of Simcoe as approval authority; AND FURTHER THAT the Township of Severn request the County of Simcoe to review the land budget stemming from the population and employment growth forecasts (i.e. residential and employment lands supply) from the County MCR to reflect updated data.
